The truth is, though, that it's been a long-ass time since I did any RP on LJ, or Dreamwidth, and roughly about as long since I used either site for even general purpose blogging. I'm not here anymore, and I'm unlikely to pick any of that back up either, which means that I'd be putting all of that time and energy into a thing I don't have use for anymore, instead of working on projects more relevant to my current life.
I hope you'll all forgive me for finally recognizing that it's way past time to face reality and accept that I can't do that.
With this post, I am officially declaring the LJlogin project defunct. The code is now available on GitHub on the off chance that someone decides to fork it so they can pick it up and carry on. The original website has been changed to redirect to the GitHub project. Anyone who does decide to resurrect LJlogin, I wish you the best of luck, but I will warn you in advance that I will have no advice for you and will not be accepting pull requests or providing any other kind of support.
Barring any highly unforeseen circumstances, this is and will be the last post on this community. I have no interest in adjudicating any standard by which any potential successor project is worthy of transferring ownership of the comm (assuming that even actually works entirely correctly; I vaguely recall once upon a time there was some sort of catch. I'm also disabling comments, so that this is the last word on the matter; I ask you all to please leave it at that.
